Returns Portal

The Returns Portal settings allow you to customise your customer's experience. All options are available on the Merchant app.

Brand Settings

Setting Description
Logo Upload a logo to be displayed in the header of your Returns Portal. Used on log in page and as a favicon.
Font Set the font that represents your brand when customers visit the Returns Portal.
Cover image Upload a main image that represents your brand when customers first visit the Returns Portal.
Button color Select the primary button color used throughout the Returns Portal.

Platform-specific Features

These features are available for specific ecommerce platforms (Shopify, Magento):

Setting Description Example
Magic Link Offers customers option to create return only with email address. They will receive an email with a link that will show all products from all orders eligible to be returned according to return policy. -
Postal code login If enabled allows customers to create a return with postal code (instead of an order number). -
Multi-order flow Returns Portal will show products from all orders eligible to be returned according to return policy. -

Product Information Display

Control which product details are shown to customers during the return process:

Setting Description
Show product prices Display product prices during the return process.
Show product categories Display product categories to help customers identify items.

General Features

Setting Description
Group identical items Customers will be able to pay and create more than one label for one request in case they need to send back items in more than one package.
Order number instructions Shows customers instructions on how to identify and where to find the order number. Allows copy customisation.
Additional information message Display custom information to customers during the return process.

Testing & Demo

Setting Description Example
Demo mode Allows you to try your Returns Portal experience. This option uses sample products and mock data. Activate by adding ?demo to the URL. Any email can be used. The order number is automatically set to DEMO_1234. Example: https://app-demo.returnista.com/?demo&email=demo@returnista.com
Pre-fill email/order Add the query parameters email and orderNumber to the Returns Portal URL to pre-fill the login form for a specific customer and order. https://app-demo.returnista.com/?email=demo@returnista.com&orderNumber=DEMO_1234
